2016年臺北爵士樂節邁入第10周年，活動擴大舉辦，並以「10載有感爵」為主題，規畫多元爵士音樂會及推廣活動，讓臺北市民真正Feeling Jazz！
除了舉辦9場系列爵士推廣活動外，8月12日至13日更於中山堂中正廳舉辦「國際名爵」售票音樂會，邀請世界級的爵士大師來臺演出，其中包括來自美國的爵士吉他大師Dean Brown，以及來自巴拿馬爵士音樂節主秀組成的TJF Jazz Collective。10周年的臺北爵士音樂節為回饋爵士樂迷，將兩場要價不斐的演出門票，以800元、500元及學生優惠票300元出售，讓聽眾輕鬆就能聆賞大師的演出。
同時於大安森林公園舉辦的戶外音樂會，也將在8月12日隆重登場，除了欣賞爵士新秀競賽總決賽，還有包括許哲珮、臺灣鼓王黃瑞豐、無限融合爵士樂團、門田英司等，共18組國際與臺灣出色的爵士樂團，一連3天，從下午3點到晚上10點不間斷演出，讓參與民眾一次聽足各種風格、形式的爵士樂。
